Barrington Stage Company under the direction of its founding director, Julianne Boyd, has taken up residence in its own, full-time theater in Pittsfield, Massachusetts. An historic 1913 Vaudeville House, it was formerly occupied by the Berkshire Public Theatre. Barrington Stage has produced many award-winning shows and was the originating company for the Tony Award winning musical, "The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee." BSC is committed to presenting new productions of undiscovered musicals and plays in addition to developing new works for the American theater.
